MOTIF by Conrad Johnson MC10 Preamplifier

The Motif was a special hi-end branding of solid state products by Conrad Johnson. 

The MC10 was one of their best. Single stage. Exclusively JFET. Only four per channel.

Extensive use of CJ polypropylene capacitors. Also included in the main power supply.

Discrete components dual low output impedance voltage regulators one per channel.

No on/off button. Designed to stay permanently on. 

Does not have a phono circuit inside. A line input is conveniently labeled for connecting any external phono.

Gain: 21dB

Maximum Output: 10V

Bandpass: 2Hz to more than 75kHz

Hum and noise: 94dB below 2.5V output

Distortion at 1.0 v output: less than .1% THD or IMD

Phase: phase inverting (reverse the speaker wires for absolute phase)

Output impedance: Less than 200 ohms

Very good working condition. Cosmetically nice too.
