PMC Prodigy 5

Already heralded by critics as a most complete performance speaker in its category, the new (2023) Prodigy 5 is a well balanced and extended speaker. Deep 35Hz bass reach and wide dispersion (80x70deg) due to 1.96m long advanced transmission line and very low 1.7kHz crossover point. Its 133mm & 27mm drivers are very capable, they have been proven in higher PMC ranges. At 87.3dB SPL/W sensitivity and 6Ω impedance its fairly easy to drive. 20-250W amps are recommended. Has non intrusive 905x165x235mm HxWxD cabinet dimensions. Made in the UK the Prodigy line succeeds to bring PMC's legendary performance closer to the home user. Resolution is high with a friendly tonality. Available in silk black only. Magnetically attaching grill is optional due to the tweeter is already protected by a metallic mesh.
