CS-300F is equipped with the GE JAN-6197 which was developed for use in computers. Leben first in the world applied this tube for audio. Purchased this tube many years ago and had been seeking for the best circuit design to bring the best performance of this clean tube. For driver a very high quality 17EW8 tube is adopted, specially produced for Hi-Fi use by a major Japanese electronics manufacturer. This amplifier features a tape monitor loop, balance control, selectable speakers/headphone output, bass boost switch 0 +3dB + 5dB, 4/6/8Ω output load switch at the back.
